The only thing easier than realizing that you want to apply to Sewanee is actually doing it.

Early Decision I & II - Nov. 15 or Jan. 15
  • For students that realize that Sewanee is not only a great college choice, but the only college choice for them, there’s no better option than Early Decision. With completed financial aid-profiles, ED I applicants will receive their admission decision and financial aid package before the holidays. By applying Early Decision, a student will agree to withdraw all other applications from other schools after confirming an enrollment decision to Sewanee. If you are considering Early Decision, feel free to reach out to your admission counselor to learn more about this great opportunity. Sewanee has two Early Decision rounds; November 15 and January 15.
Early Action - Dec. 1
  • There are plenty of students that are over-the-moon about Sewanee, but feel more comfortable keeping their options open. Our December 1, Early Action deadline is our most popular admission option, and is a perfect way to get a jump on that college admission process. By applying Early Action, students will receive their admission decisions in mid-February, will be fully eligible for financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and will get to enjoy what remains of their senior year without college applications hanging over their heads. Why wait?

Regular Decision - Feb. 1
  • For students that need just a little bit more time, or are maybe waiting on admission decisions from other schools, this Regular Decision deadline is your last chance to apply to Sewanee. Regular Decision applicants are fully eligible for financial aid and scholarship considerations and will receive their admission decisions in late-March.

Sewanee had 4,188 applicants for the class of 2022.
