McClurg Dining Hall

Sewanee's flagship dining operation, McClurg combines classic Sewanee stone architecture with an open community design. Contemporary culinary trends, locally-sourced ingredients, and presentation are core principles at McClurg. The marketplace design supports a variety of both familiar favorites, authentic international and ethnic recipes and always healthy and nutritious options, including a dedicated vegan station and sustainable seafood concept.

Stirling's Coffee House

Coming off a major renovation in summer 2017, Stirling's is the quintessential college coffeehouse with great indoor and outdoor "hang out" space and a great menu of baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and of course, awesome lattes, cappuccino, espresso, and other specialty coffee beverages.

Cup & Gown Cafe

As part of the new Learning Commons in duPont Library, the Cup & Gown Cafe is a new food service convenience for students. Offering a fresh variety of unique baked goods, grab-and-go salads, sandwiches and beverages, the Cup & Gown is a favorite for library regulars. The full complement of hot and cold beverages and specialty drinks is offered too.

Tiger Bay Pub

Dinner and late-night service is available seven days a week at "the Pub." Offering a traditional grill/pub menu and pizza as well as healthier options, the Pub is open until 2 a.m. for night owls, late-night study sessions, and evening camaraderie with friends.

The Blue Chair Cafe & Tavern

The Blue Chair Cafe & Tavern is “Where Our Community Gathers,” whether lounging with a book or iPad (free wi-fi) and a great cup of coffee and pastry, or meeting a friend or business client over lunch or dinner, or even playing trivia on a Tuesday night.

Shenanigans

Shenanigans, the beloved restaurant, pub, gathering place and community landmark housed in one of the oldest buildings in Sewanee serves casual grilled fare, dynamite made-from-scratch pizzas, feel-good southern comfort food, and deli sandwiches.

Octo π

Octo Pi hand crafts the dough, the sauce, the dressings, and the flavors for each new pizza, salad, and dessert on its menu. Its pizzas are artisan creations forged in a 900-degree copper oven with locally sourced hickory to mold the flavor.

Pearl's

The longest running fine dining restaurant on the Mountain. Pearl's is proud to make everything from scratch and provide a great atmosphere right on the Mountain Goat Trail.

Mountain Goat Market

Mountain Goat Market has quickly become one of the most popular lunch spots for faculty, staff, and students. Pizza, homemade desserts, and sublime panini sandwiches highlight this funky deli and gift shop’s menu. Don’t forget breakfast!

High Point

According to local lore, this 1929 mansion was financed by Al Capone and served as a mountain getaway as he traveled from Chicago to Miami. Now it is on the National Register of Historic Places and is the go-to spot for special occasions. Enjoy its cozy dining rooms or spacious patio seating.
